Russell Jones & Walker acquired by listed Aussie firm Slater & Gordon

As if consolidation wasn't already in overdrive... The profession has to shrink and these are the kind of deals we can expect. it will be interesting now to see whether RJW is left to its own devices or if its management will be concerned about poor profit margins and will want to step in. It would be interesting to see whether a firm can do this with just a single department, ie, in RJW's case Claims Direct. Are we about to see claims management companies on the stock exchange, and what does this mean?
