I wonder how many of these retained would leave within a year or two after qualifying, having received the coveted headhunting agency phone call. The treatment of a low-ranking lawyer at any MC firm is do demeaning that I don't know whether money would be a lasting incentive to retain many of the newly qualified trainees.
