DWF-Cobbetts: fit for purpose?

I've worked at Cobbetts for about 8 years. I regard it as a good place to work and generally feel pretty well disposed towards the firm. I'd say that amongst staff the obvious concern is that some of us will lose our jobs. We're also worried though that our culture and values, which I honestly think does make us a bit different to most firms of a reasonable size, will simply be cast aside as part of this process. We're trying to keep an open mind about this merger. This is extremely difficult though when all we know about what may or may not be going on is what we read on here and Roll on Friday. We deserve better, so do the DWF staff, and the management of both firms knows it.
