I lived in Qatar for approx 16 years and I have to say with my experience there I can only think that the football world cuop there will be the worst attended ever. The number of folks I have talked to in pubs in the UK who say they have looked up Qatar on the net and decided they would rather stay over here and watch it in their local and go home to their own beds rather than pay the high price for a beer in Qatar plus the high hotel prices. also Qatar had a law that says you cannot drionk alcohol in public and also that women must wear dresses no higher than their knees and also must have tops with sleeves on so what is going to happen when the likes of the Brazil supporters arrive.
