High Court to hear equal pay claims after Birmingham City Council appeal fails

I worked as a bus guide and lunchtime supervisor then classroom assistant at a special needs school in birmingham from 1997 to 2006. Can I still claim as I thought the cut of was 6 months I am now aware it is 6 years. I am desperate to find out. If I knew 7 or 8 weeks ago I could have got my claim in. Please someone give me some advice. I still work at the school now employed with NHS as nurses assistant and have done so since 2006.
