Focus: Manches - Salvage operation

The reality is that Petho has done very little in her time at Manches. She talks of her responsibility for implementing the "strategy" but has failed to communicate internally what this is and even if she did, the firm's managing structure is shambolic and does not give her the power to make any significant changes. Manches has seen some exceptional partners and lawyers depart in the past couple of years (many of whom aren't listed in the article). Until Petho realised that the firm's success lies in attracting, and then keeping, the best people it can get and that she needs to work with them and not seek to run a dictatorship, it will, sadly, continue to wain.
