Jones v Kernott - into forbidden territory without a fig leaf?

Comment

It may be of interest to the above that I have just finished a court case where together with a former partner I had purchased a property in 1993.in joint names with a joint mortgage. Afetr just 6 months, my partner dissapeared with another man and indicated that her only intention to the property was to have it re-possessed unless I paid all of the mortgage. 20 years later she has applied for an equal share in the quitable value and occupational rent over 20 years. She got it and an order that the house be sold and that I pay all costs. Is that the end of Kernot-v Jones and the case for fairness? i WOULD LOVE SOME ONE TO EXPLAIN IT TO ME,
