Napier announces retirement from Irwin Mitchell

Mr Napier represented my father, Mr Douglas Harvey Barber in the Barber vs GRE case, where the European Court of Justice ruled that equal rights for men and women apply to UK occupational pension schemes. I was deeply touched by Mr Napier's comments about my Dad, made after his sudden death in 1989 (which sadly came just before the case had been won). This was 23 years ago and I have never forgotten the kindness shown. Wishing you a long, happy and peaceful retirement.
