Is Law Society putting SRA cease-fire at risk with management clearout?

It would make more sense if the Law Society concentrated its efforts on supporting the profession in these difficult times and worried less about internal politics and large handouts for a group of individuals who have achieved very little for solicitors over the years. I would be hard pushed to name five things that the Law Society has done that has benefited me as a provincial solicitor - and none of those five would be during Des Hudson's reign. Perhaps the axe should fall at the top first.
