I beg to differ on the statement 'Despite the plethora of opportunities available in telecoms, surprisingly few lawyers practise in the sector'. Here there are specialised Telecoms Lawyers willing and capable of providing the much need regulatory advice. It should be noted that some of these Telco's arrive here with legal teams from multinational law firms assuming there is no one qualified enough to handle their complex transactions. If they did more of their homework locally i believe they will be in just capable hands.
