what goes on at these offshore firms is a mystery (perhaps even to themselves). One hears that their profits have plunged in recession, particularly apparently at Appleby, who are are certainly losing partners. Each of Matthew Stocker, Gray smith and Alex Last (all partners) were only taken on in 2009 and have all left. Has the recession taken the sun out of the offshore?
