If the Law Society come across similar websites then will they continue to take legal action? If so, from next year, they may levy a hike in practising certificate fees to fund the claim of say an extra £299 to solicitors in the City, £199 to solicitors in provincial towns and £99 to rural solicitors. Will this be classed as extortion or blackmail by the profession though?
