Harbottle unveils defence against Murdoch's aspersions

Nonsense. The client significantly misrepresented the nature and context of advice given to a Parliamentary committee and which is also highly relevant to an ongoing police investigation. Harbottle's haven't made public statements but rather gave their own account of events to the same committee, having been asked to do so. The committee then published it. The duty to act in your clients interests is subject to, and overriden by, the public interest and the public interest in the administration of justice. Check the Solicitors Code of Conduct.
