While Harbottle may well feel aggrieved by the press coverage relating to their role, and even the comments made by their client, it is difficult to see how making public comments like this are consistent with acting in the best interests of their clients. That duty remains, no matter how hurt one's feelings are or how badly behaved one's clients might have been.
