Ms Wilks calls for "accurate science and open debate" but that is after she has quoted stastistics or information from "studies" conducted by NGOs that are involved in the biofuels policy debate. These studies are biased and are not peer-reviewed, scientific or factual. What Ms Wilks promotes is, in fact, a highly contradictory political manifesto. If she were to consider the possibility that sustainability certification should be applied to all agricultural crops, then I would find her arguments credible. Such a scenario would prevent deforestation or other indirect effects of land use changes.
