Can someone explain why these claims aren't statute barred? It seems absurd that the present government should held liable for acts committed over 50 years ago. Will Leigh Day's next claims be on behalf of the descendants of slaves? No doubt they're looking forward to another £100m CFA bill, only this time to be picked up by the taxpayer.
