Opinion: UK energy practices need to be alert to the ‘shale gale’

Even without unconventional gas outside North America, we see a big impact on energy prices moving away from the oil link. That makes many alternatives in nuclear, renewables and even coal simply unworkable. We also see substantial energy LNG exports FROM the USA in as little as three years, extremely disruptive for anyone that depends on high energy prices to be profitable.
