CC’s mettle to be tested after funds team’s flit

This piece shows the legal profession's reluctance to champion anyone who challenges the old guard. True, Ed Gander is a relatively junior partner and not yet a wise old man of PE funds in the vein of Glover or Hatfield. But he is a rising star with a dangerously good combination of ability, dynamism and charisma, and I for one would not hesitate to invite Weil to pitch on my company's next fund. Just because he doesn't have grey hair doesn't mean he isn't a solid pair of hands.
