Surviving vacation schemes

It's true, some of these items should go without saying; I mean if someone were to turn up 'hungover' or spend their time idling away the hours on facebook, then there really is little hope for them!! However, the essence of the list (in my opinion at least) is more to reassure those who have yet to experience their first vacation scheme - and for that reason alone I found it quite useful.
