Irish magic circle split on bailout of profession's insurance fund as losses mount

No surprises here at all, I worked at two family run firms in Northern Ireland (which is in the UK despite what some people think) and there was a definite tendency towards cutting corners during the "property boom", which inevitably left a lot issues to be dealt with later on. The situation south of the border seems to have been largely the same and worse in some cases.
