Norton Rose ups NQ pay

"Norton Rose has pushed its newly qualified (NQ) salary up by just over 1 per cent following its latest salary review. NQs are now being paid £60,000 compared to £59,000 last year," Is this Lawyer maths? £59,000 to £60,000 is a 1.7% increase which is not what I would describe as 'just over 1%.' More like just under 2%. Beware the lawyer who tells you his bill has only gone up by just over 1% over last year. Check the figures guys>
