@Anon | 5-Apr-2011 2:37 pm - It's likely to have been more like 20%, as in virtually all City firms considerably more trainees qualify each year than associates retire, and it is unlikely that there were zero lateral hires. Either way it's very clear that there were a large number of stealth redundancies at Travers Smith, since the number of formally declared staff reductions was tiny.
