CC was not smart in entering into the deal in the first place with a large (by Indian standards!) firm. I have worked with AZB and certain other large Indian firms and can say that while some of the individuals are smart lawyers, they are not upto city lawyer standards, probably because of too much work, too little training anobd no incentive in the firm on quality. They are better paid than their counterparts in London but are working in a very different environment. Wonder what was CC thinking, merging with AZB later?
