To look at bald percentages without looking at the reasons behind them is very naive and misleading, as is the bald statement "statistics matter". They are only relevant if they are properly explained. The quotes you were given were the usual PC guff churned out by the firms PR departments. Much of the reason is womens own lifestyle choices.
