In the next five years, litigation around European Competition law will be common-place. In the early 1990s the rules around procurement were changed to enable citizens and businesses to enforce the rules quickly and effectively. The same is happening with State Aid law (Article 107(1) of the TFEU) therefore we can expect to see a proliferation of experts in this area of law.
