Trouble indemnity

One reason why I, while I was an elected member of the Council of the Law Society, (2005-2009), pressed for the return to the Master Policy Scheme. to which all practising firms would belong, save those who wanted to and were able to demonstrate cast-iron insurance cover elsewhere. A single Master Policy Scheme would also have more quickly weeded out the deliberately, dishonest firms who have entered the profession with one, overriding aim: to defraud others, mainly residential Mortgage Lenders, and decamp with the proceeds, and thereby fatally tainting the great majority of honest and diligent solicitors as "high risk".
