Andrew Rimmington was acquitted and can properly describe himself as innocent. There are questions to be asked about how Dorsey handled the matter. But given that the Court of Appeal unanimously held that there was enough evidence for the case to go before a jury, Rimmington's lawyers' comments (implicitly accepted by your article) seem a bit OTT.
