Proskauer funds team to drive SJ Berwin talks

The thing is that Goodwin Procter has refused to go ahead in merger discussions with SJB in the past. So apparently SJB is not a decent option for an excellent US law firm. The reason for the current merger talks between Proskauer and SJB is their common situation of cash shortfall in Europe, which might be solved by a merger. They simply need money to survive.
