The great legal minds of our generation. Okay, the great legal minds of our generation who were nominated. If you want Yvonne Hassock there nominate her and the panel will review her achievements. This is a great set of awards because people are put forward by their peers and then judged by the highest levels of the profession. A jounalist, even from the Telegraph, will not apply that level of scrutiny so I don't think Yvonne Hossack would necessarily have been thecwinner of solicitor of the year (had anyone felt strongly enough that she was).
