SJ Berwin’s Statesmanship

An Orrick\SJB merger would be a bloodbath. SJB have too many people not used to being told what to do. Superficially SJB may regard Orrick as being slightly like them, entrepreneurial and history of growth but culturally they are too far apart for a deal to work. You're right in the sense that the European offices would kick up a sh*tstorm, SJB's Paris office in particular. I can't believe this deal will come to fruition.
