The Passive Aggressive Type – Works hard but can’t quite get the grades. Constantly straggling the 2.2/2.1 border. Always blaming tutors who are “out to get him” for his bad grades. Hates all his friends who do better and talks about law constantly. Will overstretch himself by doing the BVC confident of getting a pupilage, won’t get one, work some in some crappy admin job in London saying “I never wanted to be a lawyer anyway” and trade in thinly veiled insults aimed at lawyer friends – “no offence mate, but I’d rather a life than a training contract”. Yes, I know one.
