Hogan-Lovells conflicts prompt pre-merger split in Berlin

There's two ways of looking at this. The more benign reading would be that the atmosphere in Germany lends itself to the creation of spin-off firms whenever there are big mergers, and that this move reflects that atmoshpere. Lovells would no doubt like to see it as such. But as the above poster points out, this is not an isolated incident and if I was Lovells I'd be seriously looking at why this keeps happening.
