Stonewall Equality Index reveals just four firms make gay-friendly grade

Comment

I'm one of those bisexual men that disguises their sexual orientation, despite being at a very gay friendly firm. And I know that there are plenty like me. Few people understand bisexuality, including, sadly, those that are gay. To many people we are just seen as "gay but in denial" or "the people who can't decide". Quite a stupid line, given we're the ones who have tried it all and are best placed to decide! I've had boyfriends in the past but currently I am in a very long term and committed relationship with my girlfriend, so to anyone outside of our close friends I am straight and life is simple. We choose not to face the bigotry, from both the straight and the gay community, because we have no need to. Bisexual people aren't living in denial, we just choose not to trouble the majority of people who can't work it out.
