NQ retention rates for spring 2010 hold up well

I went to India on the A4ID Newly Qualified Lawyers' Programme, in between qualification and starting as an NQ. I worked with a Human Rights NGO and was mainly involved in a project aiming to prevent police brutality. The NQLP was an amazing experience, which gave me the chance to experience an entirely different culture as well as improving my legal skills and making a genuine contribution. I would definitely recommend the NQLP to any NQ, whether during qualification leave or as a project to undertake whilst looking for an NQ job. Fantastic experience and great for developing your legal skills.
