13 Old Square’s Warren Lee: 50 years at Lincoln’s Inn and still going strong

Lee's comments on trial duration may be a little optimistic but for trial length to ballooned out by 4000% is an indictment on the whole court process. The impact on the cost of justice has grown even more given that lawyers remuneratipon over the same periodn has grown even faster. The question the profession shoudl be asking is; "How has the access to and price of justice changed in the last 50 years?"
