ACC rating index unnerves firms

We work as a vendor in the legal community. it is surpirsing to us every day that the law firms forget that they are a vendor as well. More and more corporate counsel are finally figuring out that the tail does not wag the dog. There are a lot of these firms in for a shocking reality in the next few years. It is about doing what your client asks not what you in the Ivory tower want. Stop billing for temp attorneys, paralegals doing menial tasks. One General Counsel we deal with told us point blank, I refuse to use a law firm where the partners are earning more than our CEO and myself"that is just a waste of money"
