Paying by the rules

It should be noted that in 2002 the Bradford City footballer Benito Carbone agreed to take a reduced payout from the club when it was in administration. While I cannot recall the figures involved Mr Carbone wrote off something like 90% of the outstanding debt the club had to him while shows that while the rule may be distasteful in some cases that distaste is not lost on those who benefit from it.
