Two interesting points... “The rates have gone up from the previous [arrangement] but these are preferential rates. This isn’t what the firms charge on the High Street." "The new appointees to the BCC panel are: Ashfords Solicitors, Berrymans Lace Mawer, Bevan Brittan, Cobbetts, Davitt Jones Bould, Eversheds, Freeth Cartwright, Hammonds, Pinsent Masons, Shoosmiths, TLT, Walker Morris and Wragge & Co." Since when have any of these firms been anywhere near a high street in Birmingham? Jobs for the boys as per usual....
