Firms warned against ditching associate lockstep

I think Badenoch & Clark's comments show that there is real concern among associates (and their employers) over a move that - whether it's the main driver or otherwise - will see firms save money on both salary and bonuses. It's not about whether the lockstep is anachronistic, but about how performance is recognised and rewarded.
