I spent £13,852.13 on my daughters full time LPC at the College of Law Guildford 2 years ago and there is no hope whatsoever of her getting a training contract despite applying. I admonish the Law Society for continuing to "plug" the LPC and BVC with "nowhere to go" for these potential solicitors and the investment made in their future - the College of Law takes their graduates out of their intranet after 6-months so no hope of seeing what else is on offer. The Law Society need to think long and hard to see what they can to assist trainess-in-waiting who have deferments and probably more deferments and those like my daughter who are well qualified in real practice to get a training contract.
