UK firms mull tax year shift to stave off 50 per cent top rate

There is more than one way to mitigate the 50% tax rate. Year end changes are just the start. Practices should be looking at their overall structures, particularly as regards how the deal with working capital tied up in the business and how they provide associates with a "pathway to equity".
