I agree. I would have loved to have done something like the people featured in this article did with their summer vacations. But unfortunately for me, Daddy can't buy me a summer in some exotic location to undertake some CV-boosting, unpaid work. This article is incredibly one-sided and fails to offer any realistic advice, unless of course someone is willing/able to shell out bucketloads of cash for such an opportunity.
