Olympic village is torch bearer for East London regeneration dream

All very jolly for the firms involved no doubt but once again the loser is the public purse. Stratford c/would always have been developed without the Olympics. Now Ken Livingstone's idea that the Olympics development will make a profit is dead in the water the bill for the taxpayer is looking like £20billion, much more than the cost of a few duck houses.
