Any UK Law firm wanting to conduct business with their counterparts in Nigeria should tread with caution, given the level of corruption and in particular fraudulent activity that has gone on in the past. Unless you understand their language and culture, the risks are very high. A thorough risk assessment is required. The US dept of State in country report and the UK Border in country reports should be reviewed regularly.
