Worlds apart: Jane Douglas, DP World

I struggle to understand any person - particularly a woman - who can speak with pride about working in or for the UAE. Appalling record on human rights, construction projects offensive to nature and good taste, squalid little pit of prostitution, gross hypocrisy etc. etc. And what is the point of this story? Sovereign fund uses world's largest law firms to help it buy things. Junior counsel working on deals assisted by big law firms finds it all exciting/steep learning curve/insert cliche. This is news?
