Reed Smith is taking on an e-commerce team from Florida firm Greenberg Traurig to increase the size of its New York office.
The co-head of Greenberg's New York e-commerce practice Joseph Rosenbaum is moving with counsel Daniel Schnapp and two associates. Rosenbaum will head Reed Smith's New York e-commerce practice and will join the business and finance department in the corporate and securities group. Before joining Greenberg he spent 17 years at American Express, where he was senior counsel. His clients include MasterCard International, BT North America, and Netik. His practice spans e-commerce, IT and domestic and international corporate and commercial work. Rosenbaum said: "I'm hoping to play a significant role in developing the firm's corporate capability in New York and its e-commerce practice nationally and internationally."
