Reed Smith brings in Troutman partner

The move follows January’s hire of Siân ­Fellows from Shell, where she had been senior counsel.

Varholy was ­founding and managing partner at Troutman Sanders’ London office before going on to lead its trading, hedging and ­marketing group.

Before moving into private practice Varholy had worked in-house at Texaco and Mobil Oil. He ­specialises in the trading of energy and related derivatives.
