Reed Smith has bolstered its London capital markets presence after hiring Gide Loyrette Nouel partner Scott Cameron.
The US-qualified Cameron has joined the US firm’s Europe and Middle East corporate group. He is a leading adviser on US securities laws and regulations and has acted for a number of international clients on debt, equity and securities offerings and liability management transactions.
Reed Smith Europe corporate head James Wilkinson said: “Scott’s arrival will add to our London capital markets expertise and enhance our multijurisdictional capability, allowing us to provide a truly global capital markets offering.”

Is there anyone left at Gide London...???? They are bleeding lawyers.
Gide has also shut down several foreign (non-French) offices.
