Reed Smith has recruited real estate lawyer Stéphane Illouz for its Paris office.
He joins the property group from local firm De Pardieu Brocas Maffei, along with two associates, Nadia Chatraoui and Pauline Lefevre.
Illouz has experience in real estate transactions and also in corporate law, M&A, restructurings of companies and property sector debts.
Reed Smith European head of real estate Graham Reid said: “Stéphane’s arrival will enhance our client offering in the important French market. His depth of experience and reputation in the market means he’s well suited to lead our real estate practice in Paris.”
The Paris office of Reed Smith also took on a three-lawyer shipping team from local firm Bouloy Grellet & Godin this month.
