Rawlinsons appoints Cripps partner

South East firm Rawlison & Butler has expanded its commercial litigation team with the hiring of a new partner from Cripps Harries Hall.

Joanna Case joins the Crawley-based firm after five years at Cripps Harries Hall, where she became a partner in 1999. Her particular focus was professional negligence work.

Case previously practised in Birmingham at Wansbroughs Willey Hargrave (now Beachcroft Wansbroughs) and Pinsent Curtis.

Case says she is looking forward to a new variety of litigation work.

Head of litigation Clive Lee says: "The appointment shows our commitment to meeting the needs of our commercial clients. Her expertise in high-profile litigation strengthens the ability of our commercial litigation department to offer advice on all aspects of risk management and commercial dispute resolution."

The appointment follows that of Stuart Evans, who joined as commercial litigation partner last August from Fairmays. Case brings the team up to three partners with four other fee-earners.
